More on the Wizard of Oz Beaded Needle Case Collection
Too much fun! Finally, a break from college. How could I make it through another Fall and Winter without beading?
I cannot wait to start beading these designs!
Many more to follow!

Since I am busy updating my blog, I thought I would share Roman with you.
The German Shepherd Dog Community (TheGSDC) put out a call for action to save his life. I readily accepted. I will always be grateful for their wonderful page on Facebook. Without them, I would have never found Roman. He is the perfect gentleman.
The rewards of rescuing him are immeasurable.

Until We Bead Again in Australian Beading magazine!
I have been so busy in school lately. If all goes well, I will complete my BSN in July 2013. The other day I came home from work and found this in my mailbox!
It inspired me to take a look at some of my work on the Internet. I got another surprise when I revisited my YouTube account.

440,330 video views. Wow!
I have finally gotten a handle on school. Although at times, it is still very demanding. This week I am breaking out the beads. Believe it or not, it has been over one year since I have strung a single bead. I have been a very good student, but back to beading is long overdue.
I am making plans for a new collection of beaded needle cases.

I need to bead!
Dakota at 9 weeks old.
It has been so long since I have done any bead work. I miss it. College keep me so busy. My patterns are still finding there way all over the world. I am still amazed by the power of the internet. Lately, many of my patterns have found there way all the way to Australia. That is amazing!I guess I will have to isolate myself in the mountains with no internet service so that I can design some new patterns. I look forward to warmer weather and camping with my new puppy. She is such a great dog. I plan to teach her how to ride in my kayak. Hopefully, later today, she and I will go for a practice run. Wish us luck. She will probably weigh more than 80 lbs when full grown. She must learn how to not tip us over!

My daughter has created a blog as part of her high school senior project. I am so proud of her. She and I both have been very busy with school. I hope to do some bead work very soon!
